Our History

In 1999, we entered into an agreement with a picture frame machine manufacturer in Italy, to modify their machine to apply a compo paste on larger architectural cornice mouldings. Since then, Elite Mouldings began development of an independent line of embossed architectural mouldings – EliteTrim, consisting of over 40 profiles which could stand alone or be used in conjunction with our regular smooth mouldings. The result was a unique, completely fresh approach to embossed mouldings. This development is still on going due to the technical and manufacturing processes involved.

At our 2003 Christmas Party, we had over 20 employees. We where the largest company in Toronto that specialized EXCLUSIVELY in the manufacturing and installation of cornice mouldings.

Now in 2006, we have three showrooms across Ontario and over 40 employees.  In addition we now manufacture five different lines of Wainscoting sold throughout the US and Canada by distributors and a new e-commerce site.
